The church was founded after an evangelical outreach team was sent to the village, They did door-to-door visits, praying for people and sharing the Gospel with them, Several people surrendered their lives to Christ, among whom a couple that went for discipleship training. On returning to their village they started this church, in September 2018. In December a family member who attended a mainline church donated land to the new-found congregation. They began construction in 2019, and this brother was appointed pastor. The church now has 25 members.
